(encuesta, carta asociativa, dibujos y soportes gráficos y entrevista estructurada).
elementos. ABSTRACT
Recognize how to incorporate environmental education (EE) in the teaching-learning
processes that occur at school, to interpret and understand the practices that develop
the institutions, from the School Environmental Project (PRAE), and these alternative
for inclusion of environmental education in school. However, it is clear that the modus
operandi of those who design, develop and implement such projects, some of their
positions against the environment, ie with representations of it. Thus, the current situation of the PRAE in many educational institutions do not obey the criteria on which
it based, as they are decontextualized and training developed under weak or limited,
this is why and the interest of researchers in the study of social representations of
environment that today constitute an important role in educational research it is
necessary to recognize the importance of investigating the social representations of
environment held by primary and secondary school students in an educational
community, and the implications that these representations have on the development
of the institution's PRAE. For these representations were implemented four instruments
(surveys, letters associative drawings and graphic materials and structured interview).
This research identified that the dominant social representations of elementary school
students is the anthropocentric agreed and high school students is the naturalist,
because from the three dimensions analyzed from the theoretical frameworks of
Moscovici (1979) in the fields (information, representational, and attitudes) were items
that highlight the presence of these representations. From the analysis of the two units
Hermeneutical, we found no significant differences in what it represents an elementary
student to a high school student, as each representation remains the same elements.
