TRATAMIENTO ARTROSCÓPICO DEL SÍNDROME DE HIPERPRESIÓN ROTULIANA EN FUTBOLISTAS OCASIONALES

An observational, clinical, prospective, uncontrolled cross with a universe of 28 football players or amateur occasional 15 to 35 years of age with clinical and radiological diagnosis of hyper Patellar syndrome that persisted with signs and disabling symptoms after supervised medical treatment for at least 6 months duration and were treated by arthroscopic surgery technique with lateral retinacular release as well as medial retinaculum suture the particular clinic in Texcoco Mexico state and with the collaboration of a amateur soccer league. The 100% were male, according to age, there are 3 of 15 patients (10.7%), 5 patients of 20 years (17.8%), 6 patients of 25 years (21.4%), 6 patients of 30 years (21.4%) and 8 patients of 35 years (28.5%). Twenty (71%) patients had involvement of the left side and 8 (29%) of the right side. The method of Merchant offered a positive preoperative value 17 (61%) cases, neutral in 3 (11%) cases and negative in 8 (28%) cases. The average patient follow-up consultation after surgery was 3.2 months with a minimum follow-up 3 months and maximum of 4 months.The classification system benefit O'Driscoll and Morrey arthroscopic applied to each of the procedures performed we found 11 (39.2%) patients with normal results, 9 (32.1%) patients with near-normal results, 6 (21.4%) cases abnormal results and 2 (7.1%) patients with severely abnormal results When performing surgical patello-femoral disorders are associated as they are, chondromalacia (17 patients 94.4%), osteoarthritis (12 patients 66.6%), subluxation (6 patients 33.3%), chondral lesions (4 patients 22.2%) and synovial hypertrophy (10 patients 55.5%)Among the complications encountered in our patients included persistent pain in one case by the degenerative process.
