APLICACIÓN DEL MODELO DE REVISIÓN CONTINUA EN UN HOSPITAL PRIVADO DE TERCER NIVEL

Abstract

This work is about the selection and implementation of an inventory management model to reduce the deficit in the inventory of certain medications and solutions and in the other hand to decrease the inventory in the area of pharmacy of a third degree hospital. Therefore it will be necessary to conduct a management analysis of the current inventory system in the area of the Hospital Pharmacy, which will explain the procurement process and the problems that are presented to the missing casus for certain medications and solutions, by other hand the problems of the loss or theft of inventory from the excess of certain medications and solutions. There will be determining the maximum inventory and security. It will develop a study showing discrimination of general drug Base Hospital and solutions and the justification why that have been selected based on the demand arise. To understand inventory management it will be explore the key models and concepts of inventory systems deterministic and stochastic and to have the selection criteria of the model that best suits the needs of the Hospital. Finally it will be done a simulation of the application of the model during a period of six months and it will be observe the comparative results of the present method against the results of the new inventory model using historical data.
