Nowadays we are in front of a reality because is not enough that the organizations have capital and technology for being competitive, there is a decisive factor and it is the talent contained inside of it.
Definitely the appropriate talent management will be the main competitive advantage of the companies; therefore some authors said that we are in the talent era, a phrase resume the importance of human development in the talent management and it is the one that mentioned Bill Gates in one interview, he commented “if 20 individuals left Microsoft, the company bankrupts" I think that this expression, reveals the fact that even with the best technology is essential to the people.
There is not a long time, corporate leaders made their business plan and projections without asking first whether it would be necessary to recruit, prepare, motivate and retain a specialized labor force. But the conditions have changed and it is now essential to have a strategy for managing human capital in an efficient manner with the goal of keeping and to protect this important value.
The people are the decisive element of success or failure in the organizations, therefore are the most valuable resource that exists and and should be able to develop to their fullest. Any small, medium or large organization should think thoroughly are the objectives respect to the qualifications, training and motivation of human capital. Talent management is a basic factor that the company can obtain high levels of productivity, quality and competitiveness.
The talent’s definition indicates the set of intellectual skills that constitute the Human Capital, which is regarded as an intangible asset, that the Organization attracts and retains the strategic development of the Organization, the human capital which translates into natural or acquired abilities for the proper development of an occupation. It is the reason that this document addresses this subject as an element of study in organizations. A common problem inside in the organizations is how to ensure to have the right person in the right role and after that how to retain the talent through the time.
The objective of this work is to give a proposal of talent management system that includes the best practices nowadays with some elements like: role analysis, integration process, mentoring, coaching and life balance based on companies success cases
