CALCULO DE LA CORRIENTE DE ARRASTRE Y FOTOVOLTAICA PARA NIOBATO DE LITIO BAJO CONDICIONES DE RESONANCIA

Under resonant condition we calculate the drift and photovoltaic current for a lithium niobate
crystal employing the reflection geometry. For this propose, we first solved numerically the
material rate equations which illustrate the photorefractive effect. We found the space-charge field,
the charge carrier density and the ionized donors density. By means of the space-charge field,
we calculated the refractive-index changes. When the applied field is around of 100 kV/cm the
refractive-index changes have a minimum so-called resonant. Our numerical results are in a good
agreement with experimental data previously reported in reference [32]. Finally, with the above
solutions we calculate the drift and photovoltaic current densities for differents modulations and
applied fields.
