Resumen
According to specialists of the Universidad Autonoma de México, in a study
conducted at 2010, the heart diseases are the leading cause of death at our country;
in fact that is the reason of the growing interest of development of tools for diagnosis
and monitoring of cardiac activity.
This thesis has developed an electronic device that allows the signal conditioning,
storage and display the electrocardiogram signal. The design is based on the
acquisition of the three standard bipolar leads, this use instrumentation amplifiers with
high precision and low power, that allows adequate data acquisition. The acquired
signal is subjected to a treatment, to obtain the bandwidth 0.05 to 100 Hz. and
conditioned structuring storage format on Compact Flash Memory. To retrieve the
information uses the software Matlab it allows the display of the waveform
corresponding to the stored data.
The recorder designed has a high efficiency in the signals acquisition, fast baseline
compensation, recording capacity up to 72 hours, and it is safe for the patient not
being an invasive method of monitoring. However, under some circumstances an
unwanted component of 60 Hz shows up; and it was not developed a printed circuit
design.
