Resumen
Introduction:
Football is undoubtedly the world's most popular sport in turn is the
protagonist of much research in the area of sports science. It has
identified nearly all football players havemorphological and
functional characteristics very similar, the knowledge of
theanthropometric variables such
as maximum thigh circumference and physiological andanaerobic power of the
players and their relationship, have parameters to help identify andrank
the players, together with all the various tests both technical, tactical,
psychological, and so on. All this will help to have objective
tools for national players achieve their maximum performance.
Material and Method:
To achieve the stated objective will value the maximum thigh circumference and
anaerobic power of 21 players from the Mexican national under-21 football. To
make these measures
are used anthropometric tape Rosscraft brand. Anaerobic power was measured
by means of diving platform, using protocol michecevi
Results
As for the maximum thigh circumference was an average of 57.7 and a
standard deviation2.6, range 51.7 Minimum and maximum of 63.6 in terms
of anaerobic power was observedan average of 1140.03 and a standard
deviation of 176.80, a range 782.6 minimum and a maximum of 1518. We
obtained a Pearson correlation coefficient r of 1.50 as well as acorrelation

coefficient of .215 Kendall T and finally a correlation
coefficient of .241 RSperaman.
