As a result from his voyages through Patagonia, Francisco P. Moreno published the relation of the same in the first volume of the book “Viaje a la Patagonia austral”. In its preface he announced the preparation of the second volume which would contain the description of all the material recollected. Such second volume was never written, though he had already ordered the printing of the plates which were to illustrate it.
The whole of the collections has remained unpublished to this date and it has been my purpose to make it known, having as ground work the elements still kept at the Museo de La Plata or in deíect whereof, his own illustrations.
The lithic implements have been gathered superficially and, consequently, their only valué is for the study of their forms; the human skeletons were collected under the conditions expressed in the text. The set of peintings has been com- pleted by some photographs I took, years ago, on a visit to the place.
A small collection of objects of macrolithic facies found at Gualichú Point is very interesting.
