The monograph presented here, intitled “Possibilities for the Democratic Management opposite to Communication and Information Technologies – CITs in the School Environment”, seeks to investigate the possibilities for the democratic management opposite to the formative utilization of CITs in the school environment, as means to help forming an emancipated citizen. In order to route this study, a qualitative research had been made, through questionnaires for Basic Learning students and teachers of a school located in central RS. Theoretical references go from the democratic management foundations towards the orientation of the manager works facing CITs utilization within school environments. The debate is built around the categories: CITs, school and democratic management. In this investigation, we seek to reallocate new dialog bases between the pedagogical porecesses from school and the broader contexts from society, in this study, the CITs. As means to do so, we parlay on management as a fruitful instance for building the dialog between school and CITs, so we can highlight formative traits necessary to form autonomous individuals focused in their own time. Therefore, we start from the idea that the manager‟s work can broaden the formative horizons of its subjects by increasing the dialog between school and society, through CITs.
