A construção da gestão democrática na escola pública: encontros e desencontros
The present work deals with the lost in translation in the construction of democratic management of the public school, effected by means of bibliographical research and field study. Aims to understand the key challenges to be overcome in the cnstrução of democratic management. Specifically, the goal is as well: understanding the perception of educators about the role of the Manager in contemporary education; reflect about the educators ' vision about the importance of the actions promoting participation in the completion of the democratic management; identify the challenges in the implementation of a democratic management; analyze the ways of democratic management in public school in the current context. To this end, part of theoretical concepts on the subject, taking the Federal Constitution (1988) as a reference instrument of education, whose principles are disciplined in Law of guidelines and Bases (LDB) paragraph 93.94/1996 of education, where you guide the actions of promotion of a democratic administration. There are references that narrate the evolution of this process in recent decades, as well as references that support the participation of the whole school community as imperative in this movement of democratization. The field study, for your time, was accomplished in schools E.M.E.F. Antonio Parreiras and E.M.E.F. Marcílio Dias. The results were analyzed qualitatively and point to the adoption of a conception of democratic management in public school, in accordance with the legal principles that determine, supplying the need of overcoming the challenge of expanding the participation of school community in the daily life of the school.
