Resumen
This work is a descriptive field study with a qualitative approach and aims to analyze the multiprofessional host device under the perception of multiprofessional residents acting in basic care. Eleven professionals (physical educators, dental surgeons, nurses, physiotherapists, nutritionists and psychologists) from the Multiprofessional Residency were interviewed in three family health strategies. A semistructured interview was conducted with ten guiding questions from September to October of two thousand and sixteen, where the participants were questioned about the theme of multiprofessional reception, how their professional nuclei could contribute to the reception, and whether their undergraduate courses would have prepared them for the practice of this device. The data were analyzed in content analysis mode and separated into two categories: multiprofessional care in basic care and SUS training. The results showed that, although they feel able to make a good reception, the resident professionals feel few prepared for their undergraduate courses for the primary care service and consider the interaction with other professional nuclei fundamental for the integrality of the care and attention to community health conditions.
