dc.description.abstractThe research is insert in the discussions involving reception studies, aimed at analysing the perceptions of the relatives of the victims of the nightclub Kiss about editorial products relative with thematic content .The guiding research question is to examine how the editorial products were perceived considering it is media coverage of activity and focus on the mobilization around the tragedy that occurred on 27 January 2013. To realize this approach, we created a documentary research and literature composed by gathering information and content relating to products, and the formation of focus groups or discussion. The results show that the media operates as a supporter on the issue of the fight against forgetting the tragedy, as far as can be seen acting with sensational strategies. The evaluation of bibliographic production around the tragedy considers that self-promotion mechanisms in three of the four works launched in the theme.
