This article describes the blog application as a tool to support the realization of a competition about environment, interdisciplinary project related to the environment in a public school, involving students from 8th grade of elementary school and high school. Using a blog to create reference in the project Environmental Gymkhana http//:gincanacb.blogspot.com and corporate blogs created and organized for the teams participation in the competition, discusses and evaluates qualitative the communication, participation and interaction for each group in specific points, for a given time. The results show this tool as a efficient resource, interactive and expressive in environmental education, which also promoted a participative work and extended learning through research, encouraging reading and writing as well the use of Web technologies.
