Faced with a scenario that each increasingly competitive among the industries in
which it seeks to reduce internal costs to be more competitive in the market, this
study aims to identify the potential energy through the process gases of the clinker
manufacturing that are a temperature above 250 °C and with flow rates up to 130000
m³/h and up to the present time are not reused .To measure energy value was
carried out a case study, in which they made measurements of temperature, flow and
pressure in various situations of the process .The results obtained in this study show
that the thermal energy not reused the system could benefit the industry itself and at
the same time contribute to overall energy efficiency.
