Resumen
This research’s work presents a study on the relevance of the internet in the constitution of journalism, aiming to highlight the senses perceived by the public on Twitter about journalism as a whole. From the recognition of journalism as a recognized genre of discourse and legitimized by society, the public appears to be able to assign values and to question journalistic techniques in the current context of immediacy and reach of the web. The narrative journey of the work begins with the historical setting of journalism, demonstrating how there was the consolidation of institutional values of the activity and how the public has been inserted in this context throughout history. We also present as the internet has brought changes in the productive routines of professional and journalistic practice in general, with the establishment of cyberjournalism, while also show the characteristics. We demonstrated this public recognition by analyzing tweets with reference to two arrays of sense: the journalistic practice and institutional values, following the speech positions of the subjects, they readers, journalists, journalism students and vehicles. As methodological approach used the French Discourse Analysis. With the establishment of this path we hightlight the massive participation of readers in the comments and priority concern with the elements of the practice of journalism, mainly recognizing the factors related to technical and journalistic production.
