A influência das avaliações externas no ensino fundamental: implicações na gestão escolar

In this paper, we propose to present an analytical study on the influence of external assessments in elementary schools: implications for school management. This theme will be presented from two perspectives: the light of national law and the other under theoretical contributions on evaluation. We attempted to Libâneo grounding in literature (2004), Lück (2006-2007), Paro (2000-2001), Shiroma, Moraes, Evangelista (2002) among others. The theoretical foundation covered the following topics: public policy evaluation, the national system of basic, school administration and management assessment. This study was qualitative in nature and further research we analyzed the responses of the interviews of two managers who work in schools of public health system, located in the Vale dos Sinos region. Was used as an instrument for data collection to semi-structured interview. In this paper we have used qualitative research guided by the intent of the research and is best suited to our purposes. The selection criteria considered two schools in the city of São Leopoldo (RS) from 2011 to 2013. The assessment here is seen as a reflection on the quality level of school work both the manager and the teacher, students and other professionals involved with the institution should therefore be focused as a coach and interactive process that becomes a reflection transformed into action. The link on that theme with the subjects studied during the course led to the conclusion that the role of school management is very important in this evaluation process within the school, as it is for the manager responsible for articulating the work together with leadership, promote the continued mobility of those involved in the educational process in pursuit of generating the sharing of knowledge that should be geared towards achieving efficient results. The study concludes with the presentation of partial conclusions, to be a subject that is not exhausted, and the discussion of some socio-pedagogical dilemmas involved in studies on evaluation and management of the school today.
