Resumen
Objective: To assess the postural balance and body posture in barefoot, with shoes and high heels situations, identifying possible influences wearing different shoes. Materials and methods: 16 young women with average of 22.94 ± 1.91 years old participated in the study. Postural balance was assessed by force plate and body posture through postural assessment software - PAS. For statistical analysis was used the ANOVA test with Bonferroni’s post hoc. Results: In relation to postural balance, statistically significant difference was found between the condition with high-heeled and others: COPap (p=0.04), COPml (p=0.03), COPvm (p=0.01). In relation to body posture, statistical difference was found between the condition with high-heeled and others (p=0,011 right hindfoot and e p=0,030 left hindfoot). Conclusions: The condition with high heels influence’s negatively the balance and postural alignment of the hindfoot. A greater postural control was observed in situations where the hindfoot is in valgus physiology.
