Estudo de viabilidade de implementação de curso de mestrado em Arquivologia na UFSM

Abstract

This paper is a feasibility study of implementing a Master's degree with specific lines of research on archival issues, the Federal Institutions of Higher Education - IFES offering degrees in Archival Science and, in particular, Federal University of Santa Maria - RS due its pioneering role in offering undergraduate degree in Archival. So, was searched by applying an instrument to collect data in the form of a questionnaire applied to teachers and students to identify what conditions the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria - RS already has and which should be worked to meet the criteria of the MEC (Ministry of Education) required for the establishment of a Master's degree in Archival and to meet also the criteria of CAPES (Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) to obtain recognition of the course.
