This work has as its theme the democratic management of the public school, under the bias of the students, thus presents a qualitative approach on democratic management in a public school in the city of Passo Fundo-RS. And aims to report and reflect on the model of democratic management accomplished in a public school of Passo Fundo. To this end, the work focused specifically on differences between school management x school administration, through the reflection from the relevant legislation and on the mechanisms for the implementation and completion of the democratic administration. democratic administration. Based on the current literature on the topic, proposed interventions in pursuit of democratic management in school cited. At the end of the research found that students perceive school analyzed a proposal as democratic management, where people who are part of the school community have certain autonomy and freedom of action, but has some shortcomings, including the lack of a Student, actually quite seconded by students.
