Resumen
This composition investigates how the school managers, in the current context, are tied to enable the approximation between family and school, having as objectives: identify which are the possible strategies that allow the approximation of the family at school; check how the relationship family-school interferes in the learning process; and know what is the importance of family-school relationship in the educational process. This research is a qualitative study case that privileges as sources of information the semistructured interviews with teachers in the role of manager. To lay the foundations of the research some authors were used, as Castro (2002), Freire (1975, 1991); Libâneo (2007), Paro (1992, 1999, 2000), Piaget (1972, 2000). The data analysis turned possible to understand wich strategies managers employ to approach the student’s family with school, as well, to see that this approach provides significant benefits in the teaching-learning process. The purpose of this partnership so necessary and urgent, is build, through a conscious and planned intervention, opportunities for reflection and life experiences in an educational community. Strengthen, then, the need for managers to waive moments of their formation to reflect and reconstruct this important relationship.
