Actions from outside the school environment directly interfere in the learning
process of the students. In face of so many interfering factors is the family, space
where the individuals construct their first links, which involves affective, cognitive,
social and emotional aspects. In this context, the family plays a fundamental role
not in the school life of the individual, but also in its whole social context. The
Educational Basic and Guidelines Law - 9394/96, defines in its registries the
importance of democratic and cooperative management, proposing opportunities
for participation and partnership of the family in the school medium. This way, this
study presents the following axis of reflection: the partnership between family and
school, emphasizing the importance of the first inter-relation with the other school
scenarios segments, aiming for a better use of student in the learning and
teaching process as new proposal to the school management in a democratic and
participative dimension. In study was developed based on already developed
theory, under a bibliographic study and document research with questionnaire
application in the following segments: management group, family and teacher,
where it was evidenced that the family develops a fundamental role in the child
learning together with the school.
