The following monograph, which has as its theme the school management and the
motivational influences in the school environment, looks for pointing out the factors
that influence in the motivation and demotivation of the teachers that work in the
same school environment. It will analyze the means used by the management to
keep its teacher motivated, it will also report the important role that the management
exerts in the teacher’s life. Being a teacher currently is not an easy task, there are a
lot of factors that discourage them, having a job and a good pay are no longer
enough for them to feel motivated. There is no way it intends to criticize the way that
the manager uses in his or her educational institution, but to provoke discussions that
make it possible to report about its important role in the well-being of its teachers. For
that development, we will carry out a study of a qualitative case; the research will
develop itself by a bibliographic research and interviews with five teachers of a public
elementary school in the municipality of Sapiranga. As for the results found on the
research, it was noticed that the teachers consider the school a good work place,
they feel like the management provides positive strategies with the intention of
making its employees feel satisfied and, in this way, motivated in their work environment.
