This article reflects on the work done in schools on the use of digital technologies in the classroom combined with the work with the literary genre poem. Makes mention of its use as part of pedagogical practice and its benefits for the development of teaching and learning process. Brings in its content one a Virtual Book project template that supports the theory developed during the project. Aims productive use of digital technologies in everyday school life forward to teaching practices that involve the use of the same and the development of literary and poetic language of the students. The methodology for this job goes through a literature review that points the use of information technology and the Internet as a form of contemporary communication where the student is the subject of their own learning, learning to appreciate the significant and pleasurable way technologies. The main conclusion that can be drawn with this design model is that the advantages found in working with digital technologies have to add the development of the subjects and the tools found today to work in the classroom are essential subsidies for this development is in work with poetry or any other work.
