This study aimed to identity and analyze not only the situations that justify the
development of a potential Democratic Administration in a public school in Palmas
Tocantins, but also signal possible actions that make up a Democratic Administration.
The public examination was made a director, teaching staff, teachers, students, staff
and members of Union Village APMF School located in Palmas, Tocantins. To collect
data specific questionnaires were used to investigate the views of different segments
of the school community, with regard to participation and autonomy in decisionmaking
in school affairs, relationship management, teachers, principals, teaching
staff and APMF and members of the existing mechanisms of participation in school
that can shape a democratic administration.
In the methodology of work for data collection, 06 questionnaires took place in order
to answer each person according to their function in school, and the return was 80%
of the respondents involving the principal, teachers, students, members of teaching
staff, employees and members of the APMF.
