Evasão e infrequência escolar: o caso de uma escola pública do município de Segredo

The dropout and infrequency are among the main problems within the Brazilian public education. This project is about the problem as finding the causes of truancy in a public school in the county called Secret occurred during the year 2014 and what strategies are being used by the school management and family to avoid this problem. Aims to develop strategies to prevent the evasion and find their cause. Its target audience students from 6th to 9th grade of elementary school, parents and teachers of these students, the management team of the school and local Guardian Council. This study is characterized as qualitative research and ethnographic case study and as a research tool was used structured questionnaires containing specific for each and interview with members of the Guardian Council open and closed questions. Content analysis was performed descriptively results where found that dropout depends on different factors, which are intra and extra-curricular , and according to the issues raised and presented to conclude that followed the work wear , lack of parental encouragement and educational managers and uninteresting lessons are the main reasons that lead to dropout and the infrequency and the suggested strategies comes from the encouragement of family , school , teachers and the duties of government across the education , and the avoidance school prevented from it and not jeopardize the consequences of the problem.
