Abstract
This study refers to a research, which had as issue: Based on the report of coordinators, a public school of Santa Maria /RS, find out how can you currently developing a participative management, involving professors, students and community school? Has as aim know the management practices of school of Santa Maria/RS and reflect the interaction of the school community in which they inserted about participatory management. To conduct the study used as a methodology a qualitative approach of a case study, using questionnaire as a data collection instrument, the data were analyzed using content analysis. In addition, it used the literature and analyzed the PPP School and other documents about the researched topic. From the data, can infer that for a democratic management we need the participation of all, this implies new organization processes and school management that based on the collective. In conclusion, to achieve a participative and democratic school management is necessary a reform, especially in the political formation of citizens, teachers, students, employees and the community. So, they understand that their participation and knowledge are a great importance to reaches truly and fully. Therefore, it known that the daily construction is which provides opportunities for all to participate and give priority to the collective interest.
