Preservação do solo: a aprendizagem e os ensinamentos de uma turma de 6° ano através da arte

Environmental education has never been discussed as today. In this context, the preservation, conservation and awareness about the importance of soil for humanity should be started very early. Currently, soils are undergoing degradative processes, mainly the erosion due to their improperly use. Thus, it is necessary that students of the lower grades of elementary school receive ongoing guidance on methods of soil conservation, through playful methods, which facilitates the understanding and assimilation of the content covered, using art as a source of inspiration and environmental education. For this work we used participatory research. Thus, the students received information about soil conservation, through theoretical and practical classes. At the end of the work, the students developed a puppet theatre about the importance of soil and presented to the other students of the school in order to transmit the information received during the lessons, continuing the process of environmental education.
