Today, after the Brazilian federal government program establishing a core of
activities and high skills in every state of the federation studies related to high skills
in Brazil. has gained prominence in the media including national.
As the first public policy directed to this target audience, is dust in order to assist
development of the student, the teacher clarification on the topic "high skills",
including for the strategies of the same work to help deal with these students and
to the same family, providing greater participation in the sense that all have
educational and emotional gains, making this student understood a person in their
environment, to further exploit its potential in society where he belongs.
The object of this research study was NAAH / S of Tocantins, located in Palmas,
capital of the state, considering the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and
Culture Brazilian, and partner with the State Secretariat for Education and Culture
for the deployment of the same the recognition of students with high abilities and
what the main obstacles to the implementation of it.
From the in situ observation, analysis of documents found through broad access
provided by the registry and the participation of two visits made by teachers to
fourteen students, where six of them are identified as "students with high abilities"
and the other eight in the identification process, we find that although some factors
related to difficulties in implementing the core, it is appropriate to the guidelines
established by the MEC.
