This research aims to study the course of teacher training at secondary level, the Normal course and show the advantages for teachers that go through this stage of career education and curricular Normal Course from its founding in 1890 until 2013. Through this study, we intend to clarify the need for an overhaul of the National Curriculum Bases of Normal Course to improve the quality of teacher training in high school and later joining the college for training teachers of the early years of elementary school. The course is rich in Normal educational practices and Teaching, which facilitates learning in teacher training when faced with the reality of the classroom. In contrast, higher education is rich in theoretical foundation, which deepens the knowledge of the teacher in training, but it is lacking in educational practices. Thus, we believe that the alliance with continuing education, contribute to a better quality training for years teachers and give greater support for Basic Education. We found no effective public policies that elucidate the matter to the education of future managers Education. There is no legislation that requires preparation preceding the higher education in the field of education, but recommends that the initial training of teachers at the school. There is a perceived inconsistency in public policy training of teachers, who are not exposed clearly enough to guide public policies in the management of teacher training. The purpose of this research is to elucidate the educational practices of the course, showing, through analysis of practices in classroom and field research, the reality found specifically geared to educational theory and practice, conducted with students and teachers of the course and Normal Elementary School, clearing the advantages of preparing from the school for the training of teachers trained and structured.
