Gestão do ensino técnico e profissional: proposta de dimensões de avaliação

This study focuses on the institutional evaluation. The general objective was to propose dimensions of evaluation for the management of technical and professional education. To achieve this goal it was necessary to: analysis of the dimensions of SINAES; analysis of the quality criteria of the Excellence Model in Public Management (EMPM); analysis of institutional evaluation applied in technical courses at the Polytechnic College UFSM; definition of the dimensions to be evaluated in technical and professional education. The research approach was qualitative and quantitative; first, seeking an exploratory study based the wording of the questionnaire. Them, the instrument was administered to 35 students in the second semester of the Technical Course in Management of the research institution. In data analysis, we used descriptive statistics for quantitative data and content analysis for qualitative. The main results were confirming the inapplicability of some of the evaluation questions to students, should be directed to the respective target audience, as well as the lack of inclusion of questions that evaluate the quality of teaching. The study has as conclusion a proposal of indicators for the management of technical and professional education, based on the GesPública criteria and SINAES dimensions.
