Gestão de saúde pública: um estudo das unidades de estratégia de saúde da família de Rosário do Sul - RS

Abstract

The Family Health Strategy is a process of change in the traditional model of health care. The aim of the present study is to analyze the situation presented by the Municipal Health Department of the municipality of Rosario do Sul, RS, making a parallel between the provision of health care through the Family Health Strategy (ESF) with the availability of resources for meet the demand of the Unified Health System (SUS). It is a descriptive and exploratory research, being carried out a survey of data in search sites and transparency of the Ministry of Health, in order to base the literature on the subject. In addition to the supply of demand, the FHS plays a fundamental role in health policies, in the organization of the health service, and in promotion and prevention, giving priority to a quality service that operates efficiently and effectively. Among the main results, the influence of the reduction of the financial onlendings, passed on to the FHS, over the population, stands out.
