Resumen
This work presents a study and development of Backstepping algorithm for sensorless
control of three phase induction motors.
The Backstepping algorithm is used to develop a current controller for the induction
machine and for the development of a state observer used to estimate the machine
mechanical speed. For the speed control, a Porportional Integral controller is applied.
Besides the control system with the Backstepping current controller, a PI controller is
also applied for the current loop.
To validate both proposed control systems, simulation and experimental results
are presented. In addition, exploring the test driven development concept, an automated
test routine using a Software-in-the-loop tool is developed.
