Resumen
The Itinerant schools from the Movimento dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra -MST - are public schools of the state that follows the movement in its displacement to guarantee the rights of the thousand of acamped children, youngers and adults to the
regular education. The understanding process of legalization of this Schools in there
State of Rio Grande do Sul, and try to stablish the problematization around brazilian
educational system, was the main pur of this research. To do this research, the
qualitative methodology developed the following actions: critical readings about basic
documents that support the public politics to education in our country and related
review of literature around this topic; investigation about the rules of the political
pedagogical project from the Rio Grande do Sul´s Itinerant School, as well as,
studies about the educational material produced by the MST´s Educational Group;
review of literature about the theme – social and educational movement; Dialogical
work was developed in the Herdeiros de Paulo Freire´s Shools located in the Sepé
Tiarajú´s Camp in São Gabriel/RS; and interviews were done in the base school, in
the Coordenação do Setor Estadual de Educação do MST and in the Secretaria de
Educação do Estado do RS. Result suggests that the Itinerant School emerged from
and it has been established in a governmental politic of administrative and financial
descentralization. This school reconfigure the role of the State´s duty to financial and
the educational system´s management. Because of it, there are two possible
implications: first, it tells the process to understanding the decentralization of
responsibility from the State to the Rural Organized Society; Second, it makes
evident that new ways of popular organization are encouraged in this context and it is
responsible for the educative process management.
