A invasão como meio de acesso à moradia : identificação do perfil dos invasores

The present study has as its theme the invasion as a means of access to
housing. And as questioning, he was elected the following question: who they are,
how they live and where they come from families that are part of the invasion in Km2
in Santa Maria, RS? The main objective of this study was to profile Invaders Km2.
The study was conducted by an exploratory approach and like design was used to
study case. Data collection occurred through a questionnaire containing 31 (thirty
one) closed questions, and participated in the research (30) residents of Invasion
Km2. Analyzing the responses of all respondents, it was possible to have the
following characteristics profile of residents in the invasion of Km2: young, white, live
in stable, with up to 10 people living in the same household, low education, unskilled,
income below the average monthly published by the IBGE, most have access to
water from the general distribution network, enjoy garbage collection on site, receive
electricity. Among the motives for the invasion are seeking quality of life, believe it is
the duty of the State to regularize the invaded area, the regularization of the land
(deed) is a major concern, say the government be responsible for compensating the
families who have their their homes destroyed or expropriated lots, reside more than
4 years in the invaded area, are from District next to the invasion, were not
homeowners, have no house to live is what motivated to participate in the invasion,
usually do not participate motion social or organized group.
