dc.description.abstractThe article presents results of an analysis of system of meaning in fashion consumming. A study of appropriation of regional country identity was carried out by the summer collection/2006 by Cavalera brand called “Cabra Macho” (masculine) and “Maria Bonita” (feminine). The analysed pieces of clothing compose the processes of meaning in which the alignment of images, the subject and the object generate media representations responsible for the success and the modernization of aspects of that cultural identity.
