Resumen
The students of the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) are students that were excluded of the
school and many of them even of the society. They are in process of acquisition of the reading and of
the writing skills. Thinking about these students and in the today diversity of media and new technologies,
this work looks like how we can improve the reading and written skill from computer usage.
The challenge cross the field of how to work the EJA student in the computer laboratory, from the
computer usage learn to building knowledge from interacting with machines. The pedagogic strategy
was to introduce the student of the Totality 1(group corresponding to the years begins of the regular
teaching) of the EJA in the use of the computer and make use of it as didactic resource, motivating the
discovery and contributing to the construction of knowledge. Being used computers equipped with
education software’s, with editors of texts and Internet, this work shows a new approach to improve
the reading and written skills of the EJA students. At the end it is clear that the student do not recognizes
the computer as a myth to be demystified but as an instrument capable to aid him in his/her life,
in their studies and in his/her job, improving his/her life quality.
