For a greater understanding about the role of the education manager, it was intended
to direct the main focus of this Qualitative Research, Case Study, to the relevance of the role
played by the school educational pedagogical manager. The cited research provided us a
wide range of opportunities to a better understanding about the work of this Professional,
responsible for the pedagogical management, into a school’s democratic vision, in
consonance between the theory and the practice. In this way, to achieve success in our work,
we administered a questionnaire with some questions that were answered by teachers who
act in a State High School. From the data collection related with the research, in which one
of the checked questions was related with the continuing education, it was possible to
characterize the educators according to the applied methodology, in other words, their
capacity as managers in the classroom. We seek to emphasize, in the course of this work,
some peculiar characteristics of committed educators with the task of education, whose goal
is focused to the student’s learning.
