As interfaces do setor recursos humanos e a educação permanente em hospitais: uma revisão da literatura

This study conducts a literature review to characterize the Human Resources (HR) and
Continuing Education in Health (CPS) in hospitals, and it has the objective of analysis the
interface between HR and CPS. The work management and the RH's manager in the health
sector is seen as a new subject, and they perform different types of activities like planning,
selection and choose the right position for the employees in the hospitals. They work for
improvement, training of the employees focusing on the needs to active the development of
competences for the health quality and work processes regulation with interface to the
professional corporations, education and society. One of the strategies to the health
qualification is the National Politics for the Continuing Education in Health that is made
through the Ministry of Health programs. The interface between HR and CPS is really
important in the hospital, together with the managers, they must verify the hospital needs,
valuing employees and achieving service excellence. Despite of this importance, there are few
research about this interface. The articles reviewed in only one article it appears and it relate
that there is no connection between the HR and CPS in the hospital of the article. Only in the
nursing sector this interface was made unlike it should be done in the RH. However, this
interface improves the work conditions, professionalization, human capital value, resulting in
better services for the community. In conclusion, the lacks of studies are because most of the
researches had been done by nursing professionals then, there is no analysis from other
professionals like psychologists and administrators.
