Resumen
Gestation a physiological period common to women's health and requires monitoring, due to several situations that may be borderline and lead to poor outcomes. There are women who do not spontaneously go into natural childbirth, causing obstetricians to consider induction of labor. This procedure is weighted when the benefit of anticipating delivery is greater than the continuation of gestation, prior to the consideration of a cesarean. This study was motivated by responding to the factors associated with labor induction and what care may be directed at these women. The objective of this study was to investigate the induction process in an obstetric emergency service of a university hospital, to think about the improvement of the process of multiprofessional care that can be offered. Through a qualitative applied applied research of descriptive character, a valid theoretical framework was used to contextualize the problem and visualization of the care offered, and thus to think about how the work process around these pregnant women occurs. The examination of this process was done from the analytical flowchart analysis tool, which has the pretension to broaden the understanding of the work process in health, focusing on the user. The moments of decision, represented in the flowchart allow to conceive moments for the professionals' performance with the use of light technologies. It is concluded that there is a need to carry out studies of practices centered on diverse professional nuclei in the performance of the labor induction assistance.
