Objeto virtual de aprendizagem com acessibilidade em libras: possibilidades para o ensino e aprendizagem das quatro operações matemáticas

This article aims to show all the data analysis obtained through the validation of a Learning Object
(LO) entitled “Mathematics in Brazilian Sing Language: the Four Mathematical Operations” about its
accessibility. The testing was performed with deaf individuals who attended the first years of
elementary school in Santa Maria, RS. The results were obtained through a qualitative approach of
exploratory kind. Besides, the observation of the involved ones, it was also used mixed questionnaires
for the students and a questionnaire with opened questions for the teacher / translator of Brazilian
Sing Language, who teaches Mathematics. The results of this validation, as well as, the developing
process of this learning object pointed, in addition of being an interesting tool for the students, it was
realized being also effective to the teacher / translator of Brazilian Sing Language who teaches
Mathematics. Because this approach is able to enrich his/her practice and make it funnier, more
entertaining and interactive helping in the build of mathematics knowledge of the students.
