Para além da internação: (re)conhecimento dos profissionais da saúde sobre a reforma psiquiátrica

Abstract

The study aimed to understand the perception of the multiprofessional team from Psychosocial Care Units of General Hospitals of the 4th Regional Health Coordination in front of the Psychiatric Reform Law. Qualitative research carried out with 19 health professionals inserted in the Psychosocial Care Units of the General Hospitals. The data were collected through a semistructured interview in the period of June and August of 2017 and, later, submitted to the thematic analysis from which two categories emerged: possibilities for expanded attention and paths to be followed. The comprehension of the care, on the part of the professionals, was identified under the logic of integrality. The professionals identified the stigmatization of the person with mental disorder and the consequent difficulty of access to the services of the network as obstacles. It was concluded on the importance of the implementation of the Permanent Education in Health since the formation, extending themselves through professional life. Other research related to the subject that covers the other components of the Psychosocial Attention Network is suggested.
