dc.description.abstractThis monograph presents study of the energy consumption of two models of an air propulsion vehicle, A-100 and A-200, in a public transportation company in Brazil. The study analyzes the energy consumption to go from the airport metro station to terminal 1 at Salgado Filho Airport by means of analyzes and comparisons. Through this study it was possible to identify which vehicle is more economic regarding operation. Based on the analyses it was concluded that vehicle A-100 spends 39.7% less energy than vehicle A-200, resulting in a significant economy of electric energy. The cost of propulsion per transported passenger using vehicle A-100 is about R$0,13 which is a low value in comparison to other transportation systems.
