The research problem is based on the question “Why Claudia Silva Ferreira victim was named in press coverage only as ‘dragged woman’ when similar cases received different treatment?”. Properly to analyze the representation of Claudia were chosen the newspapers Folha de São Paulo and Estado de São Paulo, where it’s used the term "dragged woman" and newspaper O Globo, which refers to what happened as case Claudia.
