This work deals with the vital concerment of the role of the managerial teacher in the teaching-learning proceeding of the students, as well the improvement of the degree of excellence of teaching through pedagogic practices that takes into consideration the envolvement and participation in the whole school ordinary context. Therefore, the research took place broaching a social and cultural point of view, engaged in a qualitative research, with the teachers from a private school of the municipality of Santa Maria, RS. The findings that allowed the analysis of this research were accomplished due to open and semi-structural interviews, informal talks the subjects researched, studying the ordinary day of the school and as well the classroom of the teachers. As important things merged from the analysis of the data, the teachers brought into prominence the concept that they had on the democratic management and the necessity that it really happened at school as a way that allowed attitude and high-quality pedagogic practices. Besides, the interviews did not show in their context any performance of pedagogic management practices, but in their practices we observed that they assumed an attitude with regard to the students and the remainders of the school community that do as if these teachers acted as managers of their own pedagogic practices, that would go a long way to improve their quality of teaching.
