Gestão escolar democrática: um estudo de caso no contexto de uma escola pública municipal do Rio Grande do Sul

This study focuses on the processes of democratic school management from a survey conducted in the context of a municipal school, has been held in the course of Specialization in Educational Management offered by the Federal University of Santa Maria, distance education mode in Pole in Sapiranga - RS. The research was carried out in the school context of a public school and consisted of bibliographic and field research, which consisted of applying semiestrutrados questionnaires, which were filled by teachers and members of the school management team. The analysis and reflection of the collected data reveals that, although in many instances be differences of opinion among both teachers and with respect to management, the group seeks to articulate in order to seek strategies to meet the collective demands. However, they have unanimously stressed the need for reducing bureaucracy of the functions of school management since it prevents involvement in educational activities, or by lack of time, sometimes for lack of experience of the school managers, sometimes for lack of motivation of teachers . In this sense, such analyzes are intended to point out elements to improve and / or implement such practices, including the need for the sponsor seeks to expand the space for school managers to participate and also to appropriate other school demands beyond issues administrative.
