Abstract

The present study examines the possibility of expropriation of rural property Productive due to the failure of social function. Thus, the study was held Upon doctrinal and jurisprudential research and the approach was based on dialectical and hermeneutical methods. The hermeneutic method was used to interpret the texts of books, articles, Legal instruments, jurisprudence and understandings. Dialectical Method was Used Given that the law is a science in constant transformation, featuring separate provisions on the theme. The work was divided into four chapters, as Chapters Three First (1 Property and Social Function in the Brazilian law; 2 agrarian reform; and, 3 Expropriation) served to address and mark out certain contents and primordial notions for Understanding proposal Gift monograph.
