Uma ação de participação e de controle social na política de assistência social do Brasil

Abstract

The aim of this study is to enhance the knowledge of how is the procedure for ensuring rights and citizenship from ancient societies to the contemporary period of Brazilian society, based on social participation and social control subjects in the policy management current social assistance. The methodology has a qualitative character, and we tried to make an analysis of the trajectory of participation and social control over how the policy is being developed for social assistance in Brazil from social control and the Federal Constitution of 1988. Study demonstrates that social welfare policy has a paradoxical sense to the subjects involved, but will a historical process that involves the subject and politics, where it will take some time to fit in a way that is understood from the perspective of rights and guarantees citizenship.
