There are numerous changes that occur every day affecting various sectors of society, including education. Over time the management model school -based technocratic model was no longer consistent with the educational context that Brazil was experiencing. It was necessary transformations and they were implemented by school management model characterized by decentralization of power, which caused the largest school administrative, political, financial and educational, founding democratic management. Such responsibility requires managers, in this case the director, more skilled with theoretical and practical support in accordance with the socio-cultural context that is living up. In this perspective, it is questionable whether there is a specific training school manager? Aiming to identify the priority that this training. Through a literature search , it was revealed that there is training for school managers and that they are not recent , a government program called " School Managers of Public Education " a government policy that aims to qualify the manager in the quest for quality education social . Continuing education would be a way for managers to develop skills to plan, identify and solve problems in a participatory manner, seeking to integrate all members of the school community, demonstrating leadership democratic.
