This study highlights the use of video in the disciplines of mathematics and Portuguese in
order to analyze the importance of the use of media in education, specifically, the applicability
and contribution of the video in the context of interdisciplinary classroom. Nowadays we live
in a world where technology is increasingly present, requiring an educator's position on this
new reality. In this context, the large amount of information available, the speed of access to
information and opportunities for interaction between individuals from different cultural and
intellectual universes has brought many changes to the teaching-learning process. Thus
highlights the relevance of the issue, since the introduction of Media Education invites
a reflection on the role of the educator front of new technologies, and yet it is necessary to
perform an interdisciplinary process that leads to the construction of knowledge by
educating both socially and culturally. In this perspective the study presents some
aspects that support the integration of technology resources in schools, integrating the
disciplines of mathematics and Portuguese. Front of technology, we sought to develop the
Interdisciplinary Project “Educational Parody: Singing for Teaching.” The methodology of this
project was the teamwork, trying to utter the popular culture, knowledge of music, text
production and development of oral and bodily expressions.
