Caracterização agrícola do assentamento da quinta em Encruzilhada do Sul - RS

Abstract

This paper aims to reflect on the importance of land reform and forms of agriculture promoted by it, citing the agro ecological transition as an alternative more sustainable. Therefore we developed a field research with the settlement of the "Quinta" Crossroads in South \ RS, trying to find the reason for the absence of organic production this settlement. Applied semi-structured interviews with 10 farmers settled and 2 ATER technicians. It was found that the production is diversified in lots, but the settlement is Joint productions of blackberry, grape, corn, beans, peach, apple and citrus, and the creation of pigs, chickens and cattle milk and cut for self-sufficiency.
